Scott Alford has extensive career within the utility maintenance industry.  Scott started at APS eighteen years ago in the land department. He currently leads their Maintenance Support team.   For the last decade, his award winning team has been recognized twice for their PDM and reliability strategy.  

Scott’s vision of using technology to deliver solutions to problems encountered by their internal and external customers. He has a dedicated focus to a practical approach to maintenance optimization.

Prior to working at APS, he worked as the international Drilling and Exploration Superintendent for Newmont Gold and Santa Fe Pacific Gold Company. That was a global position where he traveled worldwide to such countries as Mexico, South America and Central Asia, Canada, Germany, Turkey and Russia managing field operations for mineral exploration. He began his career at Layne Christensen International in exportation field services operations and maintenance.
